Ei paid me a small business hiring credit by direct deposit .where do I credit this to make my bank statement balance. Can't do payable payments for the payroll?

Does an inventory adjustment show up on the income statement? I made an adjustment to grain using account number 4975. I see it in the detailed GL but it does not show up on my income statement or balance sheet.
