I am considering the purchase of AgExpert, but I have not been able to find much info on it. My main concern is that I currently have the farm and a second business, and we will be starting a couple more businesses in the near future. Will AgExpert be able to deal with these other businessses? Also, I currently use Neat Receipts with their scanner to upload all of my receipts. Will this also work with AgExpert?
AgExpert Analyst will absolutely work for different business types. Keep in mind that we are designed with the business of Agriculture in mind and so things like manufacturing or retail require more configuration and there are other products out there designed with those business types in mind. We do not have any facility currently to work with Neat Receipts but we do have an app that allows users to enter some basic transaction information and capture an image of the posting document which can then be imported into the desktop software so that the image is linked to the transaction entry.
I'd encourage you to download a demonstration version of the software and download the app to your phone or tablet and try it out. The demonstration version will allow you to set up your file and post up to 100 transactions so there's lots of room there to figure out if it will work for you or not.
