How do i view reports with only the transactions that 'count'. I don't want to see the ones I entered wrong and I don't want to see the adjusting entries. Ideally this would be in transaction report.

    Good morning Joanne.

The first thing I would do is make sure that your reversals are hidden. To do this, go to Setup > Preferences, and on the General tab, on the right, make sure Hide is selected for Reversed transactions, and save that preference.

You are right in thinking that the Transaction Report is likely your best bet. However, there is no way to weed out the type of transaction you see, as in accounting, all transactions "count". So, if you pull a transaction report for a specific date range, and you have adjusting journal entries in that date range, they will pull into the report. There is no way around that, since AgExpert is a fully functioning, audit trail accounting program.

Hiding your reversals is about as close as we can get to what you are looking for, I'm afraid. The other option you have is to determine which audit numbers your journal entries are, and print the transaction report based on audit numbers - skipping that particular group of numbers. It will take a couple of reports to make it work, but you can do it that way.

    I hope this helps!
