Hi Vel, you can create a new loan by going to your chart of accounts from the file menu. Select the liabilities tab then select "add" on your left hand side of the screen. From there you will enter an account number that has not been used and you can add a detail account or a sub account if you have a primary account for all your loans. The most important part it to make sure you select "Loan" for account type.
