Does an inventory adjustment show up on the income statement? I made an adjustment to grain using account number 4975. I see it in the detailed GL but it does not show up on my income statement or balance sheet.

    Good morning Twyla!

    Inventory adjustments are an accrual idea. So, you will see the inventory adjustments pull into your income & expense statement on the accrual basis. If you print your income & expense report on the cash basis, then you will not see this number appear.
