Hi Peggy - to get rid of the old entries, do an initial reconciliation at the start of your current financial period. Set your date and statement balance appropriately and then use the Check All button to mark all the transactions as cleared. Then scroll down to the bottom of the list and uncheck any that cleared in the current fiscal year. With credit cards that's not usually something you have to worry about, but it's good to check for them anyway, just in case. Once you've done that, you may be left showing a variance and you'll need to adjust the credit card account to clear that variance. Once youv'e done that, make sure your adjustment is also checked and then you can record that reconciliation to get rid of all those old transactions. Give us a call at 1-800-667-7893 if you need help moving through any of those steps.
