Kind of have a mess. Started with AgExpert Field a couple years ago and stuck with it, but at the time I tried AgExpert accounting could not print cheques so I stuck with old accounting software. Imported info into Accounting this year end. It made a new database without replacing old one that was there. Now my Field data is connected to an Accounting Database that is defunct. Thinking this might be a problem if you plan to more deeply integrate the two programs. (ie. Tying specific expenses in Accounting to specific activities/fields in Field) For now I turned off the link to Field on the Accounting Database I am using, and kept the link to Field in the defunct Accounting database on, so I can still switch between Accounting and Field fairly seamless.

Hey Shawn, You're right to be concerned about that. If/when we do figure out how to more closely integrate the two solutions we'll want to make sure that the right Accounting Business is linked to Field. And I'm pretty sure that there's nothing you can do to fix this on your end. I'll talk about it with our developers. My guess is that we're going to say keep things as they are for now and, 1. we'll look at how to enable you to delete the 1st set of books yourself and/or establish the link between the two sides manually, OR 2. will require our developers to go directly into our database and fix it manually. The 2nd option is an absolute last resort though as we have very strict rules about not touching customer data. I'll let you know what I hear.
