I have a client whose Windows 10 computer is changing her .agexbackup files to open with a PDF file program. I am unsure of how to revert the setting back so that all of her backups open with the AgExpert program. If you can help, that would be great.

    Hi Stacey!

    It sounds like the default program for .agexbackup files was selected as Adobe Reader. It's a painful process to go through and change this - especially since it deals with registry entries.

    When I come across people that this happens to, I tell them not to worry about it. The program association is not important, since you don't open .agexbackup files outside of AgExpert anyway. If you were to go and restore this file, you will still do it through File > Restore in AgExpert, and you will still be able to access the file without an issue. The only thing that will look strange on this particular computer is that you will see the Adobe logo. Again, this is not a big deal, since you can't do anything with the file outside of AgExpert anyway.
