I am working with ag anylist 2015 1.
when I go to File and Open I get 2016 and 2017 come up as files I can open but 2012 to 2015 data is in there but they don't show on the list. If I go into the Reports Console and click on T 2042 They are in that list and I can bring them up and by clicking on any line of the statement I see the transactions but I can't bring that up as a file like 2016 and 2017. Also when I do the year end and start to post 2018 2017 is wiped out. Help.

Hello Bernie, with the 2015-01 version all fiscal years are kept within the same data file. Your file name could say 2017 but open it up and go to Setup > Fiscal years to determine how many fiscal years are in this one data file. That is the best way to see what years your data file contains. To access older years it is best to view a report. A transaction report will allow to see all transactions entered within a specified time period. There is no longer a year end process, meaning that a new data file will not be created when completing your year end. Posting entries to 2018 will not wipe out entries made in 2017 unless the file was deleted or you have 2 data files in which you are entering data. Have a look at both the 2016 data file and the 2017 data file under Setup > Fiscal years to see if you have been entering data in the wrong data file. the other thing that could delete data is by restoring a backup that did not contain 2017 transactions. This would over ride and delete 2017 entries.
