I am going to be setting up a new data base for a new corporation, that is currently using AgExpert, but as a partnership. I am assuming that I can just set up a new data base, and import from the existing partnership data? Does this import their contacts as well? Anything else that I need to watch for in doing this? If I wanted to import their email contacts, how do I create the .csv file that I need to import?

    Hi Cheryl,
It will bring in the chart of accounts, contacts, employees and capital assets lists when you set up using an existing file. I don't think you'd be able to import a .csv exported from email contacts. The import we offer for .csv follows an organizational format specific to the software generating the .csv file (Simply and QuickBooks). My guess is that any email program exporting contacts to a .csv file would not follow that same format for data organization.
