How would I post an expense incurred for obtaining a class 1 drivers license, air brakes etc., driver training?
Hi Bernice, You could just put that the same place as you would put the annual license fee (I use vehicle insurance) or you may want to create a separate account in your Labour Expenses section and call it Employee Training and Development. You could just add it as an additional sub-account under your current Arms-Length and Non-Arms-Length accounts or create it as a stand-alone detail account.
Click on Setup > Chart of Accounts > Expenses > scroll down to find where you want to create the account > click on Add.
