How do I prepare reports? I know I need to save them as PDFs to email them to the accountant,but I cannot remember the process for generating the reports for Income/Expense, Balance, GL, etc.
There are several ways to get to these reports, but I would suggest this. Click Reports from the menu, Click Report Console from the drop down. On the left hand side, select Accountant Reports at the bottom of the list. Click on each item listed under Accountant Reports. Each time you click one, options for how you want that report to look appear in the white space to the right. Make the appropriate selections for your report, then Click Page View (bottom right). The report will be generated on screen. Click Export from the menu and select PDF format from the drop down which appears. Click Export and choose a location to save the file and name the file. I suggest making a folder called 2015 Year End and placing all your year end reports in this folder.
