Hi Andrew. In order for income to show up on the GST return, each income account must have the 'Use GST (or HST) on this account' set to Yes or Zero Rated. To check which accounts have this setting, click on Reports/Report Console/Transaction/Account Information (on the left)/Chart of Accounts. In the white space on the right, choose Category and make sure there is a check mark only by Income in the drop down. Click Table View (bottom right) and a report will be generated showing the settings for your income accounts. There is a column called GST Used. The settings should be Yes or Zero Rated. If they are not, then I suggest printing this report showing the Description Column and the GST Used column (see Show/Hide Columns button along the top which opens a Customization window. Drag the columns you don't want on the report into this window. Click the Print icon top left and a print window will open up.) Once you have the list printed, then you can close these windows and either Click the Blue Book icon, click Setup/Chart of Accounts or click View chart of accounts on the dashboard to open up the Chart of Accounts window. Click the Income tab. Edit those accounts with a setting of No and change to Yes or Zero Rated. Close this window and process the return. If this doesn't work, you may need to call Tech Support.
