If you want to see generalized transactions, you can go to Reports > Reports Console. On the left, select the General Ledger Report. Do this report for the current fiscal year, and you can select a single account to select the inventory account you want to view transactions for. Page View this report, and you will see the in's & out's for the year for this account.
You can also go to Inventory on the left of the console, and look at the Inventory report. Select Detailed, and the account you want to view. This would usually give you a bit more detail on the different transactions affecting that inventory account.
Either of these reports should get you the information you are looking for. I hope this helps!
