Hi!
I'm looking at buying a laptop and am considering a MacBook Air. Is anyone out there running AgExpert on a MacBook? Do you have any issues with it?
How big of a processor do I need to be able to run a few programs at once? When I'm working on my computer I regularly have 3-4 programs running at once. If I'm going to be trying to run Ag Expert through Parallels or BootCamp is this going to slow things down so much that I become frustrated?
Does anyone have an opinion or any experience with this?
Hi! I have been running Parallels on my Mac for years. It works, but has been extremely frustrating at times. There have been many times I have lost everything and if I didn't have it backed up on a stick, I have been unable to recover it and had to start my year over again from months back - once all the way back to January in November. For some reason, this program just does not seem to run well on a Mac. Also, the Mac tried to back up the entire data file numerous times, which used up all of our internet data for those months. I have no idea why, but it's brilliant when it does work and SO frustrating when it doesn't. I finally broke down and bought a PC laptop which I use solely for Ag Expert. My MacBook is amazing for everything else. I wish this program would run smoothly on a Mac, but it's just not reliable enough
