Hi - we just started; had our initial set-up meeting with our consultant, but she blew through a lot of info in a short time and we're struggling - my husband has been steadily inputting all bank statements for the last year, he is currently up to November of 2015 - I asked if he has been reconciling them monthly and he did not - how do I see month by month, to go back and reconcile…or are all of his entered transactions now considered one month's worth - regardless of the fact that he recorded the accurate dates of each transaction?

I want to start by apologizing for the experience that you had with your first meeting. I will be in touch with early next week to see what we could do to help. As for the bank rec, I would recommend changing the bank statement date to the end of your first bank statement and update the bank statement balance to the end of that month. Then reconcile that month and record. You would need repeat this for each month. I hope this helps
