Was there a a deposit made on the transaction? If the answer is yes, you would do a withdrawal from the Bank for the amount. If the answer is no, leave the amount at the top at 0. First line would be a Capital Asset purchase (C+) for the class of the Capital assets. Enter the details of the Purchase and click OK. Add a second and select Loan Addition (L+). You might need to add a new account for this loan. Once you added a new account, select it and you should be able to record your entry
