Can the program take inventory (both quantity and value) from grain inventory and put it into cattle expense with a single entry. Example: if I feed 1000 bu. of barley @ $3.00/bu. to the cattle, can I make a single entry removing 1000 bu. quantity and $3000.00 value from barley inventory and apply it to cattle expense?

Good morning Rob, the easiest way would be to make a general journal entry for this transaction. On the first line you would credit the Barley inventory account (put the quantity fed under the quantity tab) and on a second line Debit the expense account. This will decrease the inventory and show it as an expense. I hope this helps. Thanks
