Can I add a capital asset to another existing capital asset? We purchased some cross cut augers for our flex headers, and when we sell the headers they will sell together so I would like to add them to the existing asset. Otherwise, I will probably forget to dispose of them from the asset schedule, lol! Thanks,

    Hello Tanya, you cannot add to an existing capital asset, but when you record the purchase of the cross cut auger you can write "flex header" in the Tag box. This will show that the cross cut auger is associated the the flex header. You could also edit your flex header capital asset and add a tag that says cross cut auger. Then you will know that they should be sold together.
