I'm considering the upgrade to 360.
1) Can you import shape file maps (like yield, zone creations, NDVI)? I use Ag Leader SMS Basic to store all of these.
2) If you can import, can you view the map in the field on the iPad app with your GPS location?
3) Can you add locations to observations? And if so can you look at all your observations on a map and click to look at?
Hey Scott, I'll take your questions in order
1) Yes we can import shape files (.shp).
2) You can view the maps for Observations that have been entered either on the app or on the desktop. The volume of information recorded for operations like harvest, spraying and seeding is too large to transfer the GIS information from the desktop to the app.
3) Yes you can add locations (drop pins) to observations via the app and the desktop software. You can look at individual observations on the maps on which the observations were entered. We do not have the capability to take a field and look holistically at all observations that were entered for that field.
