First, make sure that you are up-to-date on your software updates. The current version of the software is at 2012-03.
Once your software is up-to-date, then follow these steps to lock your column width:
1) In your crop records window, select all of your land.
2) Stretch out your columns to the width you would like to see.
3) Click on File > Exit to close your software.
4) Re-open Field Manager PRO. Your column width should be remembered.
The important part is to make sure that all of your land is selected. That way, your changes will be applied to all parcels of land, rather than just a single parcel.
