When clicking on year-end the following message comes up: "One or more transactions haven't been cleared from your bank reconciliation for two years and are now stale-dated and will be removed. This will cause the first bank reconciliation of the new year for any affected bank accounts to be out of balance. You can either cancel the year-end process now and clear the transaction in the current file, or continue with the year-end process and correct your bank account in the new-year file." I can't seem to find any stale dated transactions. How can I search and find the problem transaction?

Hi Kim, The transaction may not be on the chequing account. At the top of the bank rec window, cycle through all the accounts (even the ones that you don't use/reconcile). I'm guessing that the old transaction happened on one of those.
