Trying to add a new capital asset. From the drop down menu Setup I do not see Capital Assets and from the Transaction menu there is no C+ for adding capital assets either. The existing fixed asset account number for equipment does not appear to be postable.

    Hi Randall!

    It sounds like your capital assets have been turned off somehow in your file. Go to Setup > Preferences, and click on the Optional Features tab. You will see Capital Assets in the Setup menu section. Make sure there is a checkmark, and click on Save. Once this is done, you will have access to the C+ transaction line type.
