So I am new and trying to add a mortgage withdrawal for a land payment. I have gone through the transactions video but it isn't the same format as the current ag expert. I have the initial withdrawal listed as a loan payment, but can't find a way to add the interest payment separately. I added a second row but was not given interest payment as a separate option. Not sure what I'm doing wrong??
Good morning! You want to add a second row, choose the Expense type and select an interest charges account. There isn't typically a specific mortgage interest account as default, but you add one to the chart of accounts or use one of the more generic interest charge accounts.
