Hi Colleen, there are a couple ways to do this. In certain cases you will be able to go to your Setup menu > Capital Assets, click on it, and then delete it. In most other cases however, you will have to make an entry through the Transaction entry screen to sell the capital asset (even if just for a penny) and offset it an account that is okay with your accountant (often a new equity account or one related to depreciation). The software will not post a gain or loss. I recommend double checking this with your accountant. Hope this helps!
