Is there a feature to entry equipment warranties?
Hello Twyla, equipment warranties could be entered as an expense. You can add an expense account to your chart of accounts for equipment warranties. To add an expense account follow these steps:
1. Go to Setup and Chart of accounts
2. Go to the Expense tab
3. Choose a number that is not already in use for you new expense account and click Add
4. Change the account number, select account class Detail and create account
5. Enter your account description and click Save
